Why do people document having "fake fun" just to post it immediate post it on facebook?

I don't think it has anything to do with being Asian. It probably has more to do with not wanting other people to know that we wasted our time and money on a completely boring trip. We want other people to think we are having a great time and want them to wish they could be where we are.
