Is it possible that the government lied about Osama Bin Laden's death?

I am just wondering because I thought it was kind of strange that there were no pictures or any evidence that he was killed except for an empty house claimed to be his hideout. They were also in such a hurry to "throw his body in the ocean" which is kinda suspicious. Anybody have any evidence?
