The use of DMT for religious purposes?

DMT, the spirit molecule, is an endogenous entheogen, meaning that it is present in everything. Through the use of DMT, one is able to see God, or at least a being that is more powerful than something that has ever been met in one's life. Since DMT is also produced in the brain in small amounts (and also causes dreams to take place), I want to know the thoughts about DMT allowing for religious beliefs.
